Open Seminar “Innovation through Modern Leadership” in Hünfelden

In June, I held the open seminar “Innovation through Modern Leadership” at the premises of the Monastery of Gnadenthal (30km north of Wiesbaden).

This seminar is a new workshop concept in my portfolio and is directed to entrepreneurs, division heads, managers, and people willing to make a change.

The management culture of the last 150 years has become obsolete: hierarchical management, rigid processes and business divisions structured as silos, a non-existent error culture and much more have no longer any room in today’s business community, which is characterized by disruption and an unbelievable urge for change.

But what does modern leadership look like? And above all: which specific tools can be used by modern leaders who want to increase the innovative capabilities of their company?

During the workshop, participants were made familiar with approaches of modern leadership culture such as Toyota Production System, Kaizen, Lean, Agile and Management 3.0.

The seminar focused on excellent support for self-organized teams, motivating employees, iterative procedures based on constant learning as well as increasing transparency. Together we found out that modern corporate values such as commitment, openness, courage, respect, and focus can be established via this new leadership style.

Thanks to many interactive exercises, the participants went home with a bag full of tools to utilize back in the office.

I offer open seminars several times per year on the following topics: Agile Working, Innovation, Business Model Design, Value Proposition Design, Lean Startup, Modern Leadership and Cultural Change.
