6.5.2021: Webinar: Facilitating change - Supporting people and teams in change

Changes always represent challenges for us – both emotionally and from a purely practical perspective, as an employee and as a leader. But everything that triggers uncertainty or chaos often follows a particular pattern.

We, as the seminar hosts, analyze changes from three perspectives: as an employee with an employment contract, as leaders in the company, and as self-employed innovation coaches.

In the seminar, we describe change patterns and how to address these patterns. We look at the communication needed to get messages across and to initiate change. Furthermore, we provide hands-on examples how change can be designed well and how employees can be held accountable.

Your benefit

You will become more confident in dealing with changes and in facilitating change in a responsible way. You will get a better understanding as to how people respond to change and how you can influence these reactions. Hands-on examples provide ideas for your personal challenges.

Seminar content

  • How it all starts: sources and necessities for change
  • To get change in motion: tools to involve employees in change processes
  • Phases of change and how to support these phases
  • The principle of small steps
  • Ensure maximum security to mitigate the intimidating nature of change
  • Properly leverage moments for enhancing culture
  • The five rules of change communication
  • True-life examples: good and bad

Digital concept and technical prerequisites

The seminar will be held in two morning sessions. You will be given time inbetween for reflection, and the time in front of the monitor will not become too long. We share knowledge, but we also work together to grasp the content of the seminar. Teaching-style and interactive content is shared by means of lecturing and breakout sessions. We work with Zoom and a digital board. We will provide you with detailed instructions before the seminar. If you are not familiar with these instruments, we will offer a test run so that you are well-prepared on the day of the seminar.

The colleague

I am facilitating the seminar together with my colleague Dr. Vanessa Giese. She is a social psychologist and communication scientist. She has been supporting organizations, their managers and teams in change processes and digital projects since 2017.
