20.9.2022: Seminar: Women in leadership - Being successful and authentic as a female leader

Women often think it's important to act collegially and to include all employees and colleagues as much as possible. But sometimes it is better to give clear guidance in order to avoid misunderstandings. In the seminar, we talk about which leadership strategies are appropriate in which situations.

Sometimes it is not about the matter at hand, but about power and status. Here, completely different strategies are needed. We deal with status communication and give easy-to-implement guidelines for dealing with dominance behavior.

In the seminar, we talk about which leadership styles and communication strategies lead to the goals you want to achieve. We clarify: When and how do I lead from above or from the side? How do I deal with not being led myself?

Our view: A leader should be able to recognize and make use of all available communication forms. Because an essential part of leadership is communication!

The venue

The Akademie Gesundes Leben is located in Oberursel (in the Taunus mountain range close to Frankfurt) on the edge of a forest area and offers opportunities for long walks. Together with its gardens, the Akademie Gesundes Leben forms a small enclave far away from hustle and bustle, and yet benefits from excellent connections to the traffic network. The site enjoys welcoming and airy conference rooms, and the exterior area offers space for discussions and walkabouts. Accommodation is available on site. The high-quality rooms allow for a great view on the Frankfurt skyline. Meals offered in-house are exclusively of organic quality; only vegetarian food is served.

The colleague

I am facilitating the seminar together with my colleague Dr. Vanessa Giese. She is a social psychologist and communication scientist. She has been supporting organizations, their managers and teams in change processes and digital projects since 2017.

Target group

Women in leadership positions, female team leaders, female project leaders, women who are responsible for topics as experts, and women with an interest in leadership.
