Open Seminar ‘Help for self-help: Shaping my (working) environment myself’

Under the guiding principle of the quote from Ruth Cohn: “I am neither all-powerful nor powerless. I am partially powerful” I finally held another open seminar in the beautiful Gnadenthal Monastery on 24 March after a three-year break from Corona.

Six participants used the day for extensive self-reflection. Aspects of this were to become aware of the roles lived in private and professional life, to rediscover one's own drivers and to oppose old beliefs with positive affirmations.

In a second part we dealt with effective communication based on the concept of non-violent communication by Marshall Rosenberg, which we applied to feedback situations.

In addition, we looked at other ways to increase self-efficacy. We discussed practices that serve to permanently lower the individual stress level as well as methods of embodiment to positively change one's own perception.

Another highlight of the day from my point of view was the teamwork to determine the inherent power of each participant present. This power is also called genius, it is innate and describes the core ability of an individual person and can also be understood as his/her calling. In my view, it is highly relevant because the closer a person aligns his or her life with his or her essential power, the more fulfilled he or she perceives his or her life to be.

All in all, it was a great day. The pictures speak for themselves...
