In 2018, I facilitated a 2-day Design Thinking workshop focused on user-based solution development. The participants had a lot of fun with user interviews we conducted in downtown Limburg.
The biggest lesson learned was not to interpret what was said, but to really concentrate on what the respondents actually had said.
After we had returned to the seminar room, the interviews were presented to the other team members in the form of storytelling. After that, the team dealt with identifying patterns of possible user needs.
While the first day was dedicated to users and their needs, we embarked on generating solutions on the second day. This was all about ideation, focusing on an idea, prototyping and the subsequent testing with potential users.
The workshop, thus, was an example for one round of the Design Thinking process run in two days.
I offer open seminars several times per year on the following topics: Agile Working, Innovation, Business Model Design, Value Proposition Design, Lean Startup, Modern Leadership and Cultural Change.
