Open Seminar 'Creating an Innovation Culture' in Hünfelden

On November 8th, I hosted the seminar ‘Creating an Innovation Culture’ for a small group of participants. This workshop targeted executives of all industries. We exchanged views on topics such as characteristics of innovation, definition of innovation, suitable working methods for generating new businesses and different variants of innovation programs.

After we tackled the topics around innovation quite theoretically, we applied the new working methods to a business idea which I brought along.

It was important to go through this experience ourselves, as we also expect our employees in our corporate environment to take these working methods to heart. In particular we focused on the stringent testing following the Lean Startup method.

For sure, the most exciting part of the day was when we covered the topic of metrics to measure the success rate of our innovation activities. Here it became very obvious, that innovation projects need fundamental different measurement criteria compared to our core business activities. This in turn requires a fundamental mindshift in particular in the upper management.

I offer open seminars several times per year on the following topics: Agile Working, Innovation, Business Model Design, Value Proposition Design, Lean Startup, Modern Leadership and Cultural Change.
